Save a Life: FOSTER
Fostering a dog or cat is one of the most rewarding efforts in rescue. Fostering in most situations is literally saving a life. We are the only animal welfare organization in our county. We do not have a county animal shelter/pound or any type of animal control. If we can not take in an animal, there is no other option for that animal. Most of the time, the animal is left to fend for itself. We can only take in a certain number of animals due to our limited space. If we have to turn down an animal, it has a very slim chance of survival. That is where fostering comes in! We can save many more animals if we have foster homes available. We pay for all of the vetting, food, supplies, etc. The foster provides a safe, loving environment for the animal while they wait for their forever home.
